Our practice is currently seeking a practice coordinator to join our growing, progressive practice. A large, well-established pulmonary and critical care medicine practice, our 14 physicians and 10 physician extenders offer the most advanced medical care and services for patients throughout southeast and coastal Georgia. Our focus is in building strong, collaborative relationships between our physicians, our physician assistants, our nurse practitioners and our patients for improved patient care and safety. As a Southeast Lung Associates’ Practice Coordinator, you would be responsible for supervising a healthcare facility and its staff, ensuring the facility’s overall operations and the performance and efficiency of the staff. As the Practice Coordinator, you would evaluate the appearance of the facility, keep administration informed of building maintenance needs, ensure equipment maintenance and contact vendors for repairs, review provider call schedules, ensure provider clinic volumes are accurately aligned with the providers’ individual requests, monitor and oversee daily operational flow, ensure proper staffing to meet the needs of the clinic, assist staff and staff development, perform staff evaluations, and assists with recommending salary and position adjustments, and work closely with Practice Administration in handling disciplinary action process.
Requirements::
A qualified candidate will have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree with 1-2 years’ of experience managing a physician practice and have a strong working knowledge of EMR and billing processess. We offer comprehensive training and support. Please forward cover letter with resume.
