Southeast Lung Associates is looking for a Respiratory Therapist/PFT Technician to join our growing, progressive practice in Hilton Head Island, SC. Day shift. As a PFT Technician, you would be responsible for the operation and provision of the Pulmonary Function Testing services completing routine Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT), Spirometry testing and Methacholine Challenge Testing. You would be responsible for providing first level trouble shooting for pulmonary function equipment and for performing quality control procedures on pulmonary testing equipment to ensure proper operation and integrity of test results.

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy and/or Certification as a Pulmonary Function Technologist
• Current licensure by the Board of Respiratory Care as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) or Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)
• 1 to 2 years respiratory therapy experience as an RRT in hospital or physician office, and/or a minimum of 6 months – 2 years of experience as a Pulmonary Function Technologist.
• Proficiency with pulmonary function testing and equipment
• Current certification in Basic Life Support for healthcare providers (BLS)
• Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
